Summary
Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners in Waterbury, CT, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be part of a team that thrives in a fast-paced setting, working in either a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
Position Overview
- OR RN experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required
- AORN preferred
- Flexible scheduling options
- Weekday and weekend on-call required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Prepare and maintain operating room for all surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition during surgery
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- COVID-19 Vaccine required
- Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella immunizations required
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) required
- Fit Test and Physical/Health Statement required
