As a Registered Nurse in the ER, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• PA license or compact license required (must be in hand).
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Strong skills in management of dysrhythmias, central line care, and IV vasopressors.
• Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
