Description

Join our esteemed healthcare team at WCS Healthcare Partners as a NICU Travel Nurse in the vibrant city of Hartford, CT. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to our youngest patients in a 48-bed Level IV NICU. Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
Administer medications and perform various medical procedures, including blood glucose monitoring, APGAR scoring, and ventilator management.
Support families through education and guidance on neonatal care and breastfeeding.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in rotational shifts, including day/night rotations and weekend coverage as per unit needs.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU settings with Level IV experience preferred.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
Valid state license or compact license.
Experience with travel nursing and adaptability to various clinical environments.
Proficiency in managing complex neonatal conditions such as prematurity, congenital heart disease, and respiratory distress syndrome.
