Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level I Trauma Center.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias.
- Care for ventilated patients and manage emergency situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting.
- Experience in a Trauma Level I facility is required.
- Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
- Must have a permanent MA nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is required.
- Proficiency in EPIC is preferred.
Patient Care Details
- Care for patients across all age groups: neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
