Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Neuro Operating Room.
• Function independently in neurosurgery procedures.
• Administer blood and blood products as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Participate in trauma and orthopedic surgeries.
• Handle specimen labeling and management.
• Respond effectively to code situations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotics experience required.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• EPIC charting system experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 4x10s or 3x12s shifts.
• Available for on-call duties as required.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:1.
• Experience with trauma Level I and II facilities preferred.
• Must be able to care for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
