Job Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative expectations.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient-care equipment; interpret and document electronic data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Job Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Active State RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience.
• BLS & ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication, assessment, and customer-service skills.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours.
• TR Band experience and cardiac drips management.
• Responsible for cardiac monitoring and reading tele strips.
