As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. WCS Healthcare Partners is dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
- Assist surgeons during operations and procedures.
- Monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly before procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Permanent MA license in hand required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
- Must have Level 1 Trauma experience.
- 40 hours per week, no weekends, no call.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures and equipment.
