Summary

Join our dynamic team at WCS Healthcare Partners in Worcester, MA, a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural diversity. As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate interventions during procedures.
  • Administer medications and manage patient sedation during procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic charting system.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or related field.
  • Current and valid MA RN license.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required.
  • Experience with End-Tidal CO2 Monitoring, ACT, and various cardiac procedures.
  • Preferred experience with Trauma Level I facilities and previous charge experience.
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.
  • Flu vaccine required; exemptions allowed for medical/religious reasons.
