Summary

Join our dedicated team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit located in vibrant Brooklyn, NY. This role offers an opportunity to provide critical care to our youngest patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking skilled and compassionate professionals to enhance our team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the ICU.
  • Administer respiratory support, including intubation.
  • Manage patients on vasoactive drips, central venous lines, and arterial lines.
  • Care for patients with respiratory, trauma, post-operative surgical, and sepsis cases.
  • Adapt to varying nurse-to-patient ratios based on patient acuity.
  • Float to the Pediatric Emergency Room as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pediatric ICU or similar setting.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
  • PALS, PCAR, and TNCC certifications are required.
  • BSN preferred; CCRN certification preferred.
  • Willingness to work night shifts from 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
