Summary

Join our dedicated team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit located in vibrant Brooklyn, NY. This role offers an opportunity to provide critical care to our youngest patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking skilled and compassionate professionals to enhance our team.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the ICU.
Administer respiratory support, including intubation.
Manage patients on vasoactive drips, central venous lines, and arterial lines.
Care for patients with respiratory, trauma, post-operative surgical, and sepsis cases.
Adapt to varying nurse-to-patient ratios based on patient acuity.
Float to the Pediatric Emergency Room as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pediatric ICU or similar setting.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
PALS, PCAR, and TNCC certifications are required.
BSN preferred; CCRN certification preferred.
Willingness to work night shifts from 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
