Responsibilities

• Deliver care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, and families using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Assist obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesia, and the healthcare team in caring for patients.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Organize and achieve a high level of accuracy in daily work.
• Perform other general responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of labor and postpartum experience.
• 2 or more years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Active NH RN License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Circulation experience required.
• Must be willing to care for GYN surgical and general post-op patients.
• Must be willing to work every 3rd weekend.
