Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the medical team.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Department or similar acute care setting.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- Flexibility to work D/N rotations, including every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).
