Responsibilities

  • Assist other RNs and healthcare providers in outpatient oncology clinics.
  • Support surgical and oncology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on treatment plans and care management.
  • Perform triage and manage patient inquiries via phone.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in surgery and oncology nursing.
  • Outpatient experience preferred.
  • Active RN license in the state of New York.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
