Responsibilities
- Assist other RNs and healthcare providers in outpatient oncology clinics.
- Support surgical and oncology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Provide patient education and counseling on treatment plans and care management.
- Perform triage and manage patient inquiries via phone.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgery and oncology nursing.
- Outpatient experience preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of New York.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
