Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment for patient monitoring and care.
  • Educate patients and families on healthcare plans and post-discharge care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Massachusetts RN license (must have permanent MA license in hand).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with trauma level I care and prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
