Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function tests with proficiency, ensuring accurate and timely results.
• Provide critical care in PICU, NICU, and ED settings, utilizing extensive experience to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Float between ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas as needed, ensuring comprehensive respiratory support across departments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with a focus on pediatrics.
• Recent experience with Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) is required.
• Proficiency with Breeze software is strongly preferred.
• Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED is required.
• Level I Trauma experience is highly preferred; Level II will be considered.
• Must hold a current registration as a Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Active GA license is required at the time of application.
• Ability to work every other weekend and Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
