Summary

Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners in New Haven, CT, where you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to oncology patients in a dynamic outpatient multispecialty clinic setting. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.

Responsibilities

Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs and provide guidance.
Manage in-basket tasks efficiently to ensure seamless patient care.
Assist healthcare providers during clinic visits for both new and returning patients.
Conduct pre-op/post-op and chemotherapy teaching sessions for patients and their families.
Provide comprehensive patient education, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Outpatient clinic and phone triage experience required.
Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) is mandatory.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are preferred.
Proficiency in using the Epic charting system.
Experience with adult patient age groups.
