Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with behavioral health needs in the Emergency Department or inpatient settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Behavioral Health in an ED or inpatient setting.
- State Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
