Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, working with a dedicated team to manage a variety of emergency situations. The position requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Perform IV therapy, including blood product administration, central line care, and phlebotomy.
• Manage ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP machines.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Provide care for patients with neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.
• Implement isolation precautions and manage infection control protocols.
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care using the EPIC charting system.

Requirements

• Current New York Single State RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Strong clinical skills in emergency care, including the ability to manage acute psychosis, drug overdoses, and gunshot wounds.
• Experience with IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation, and emergency medications.
• Ability to work night shifts (7p–7a) and every other weekend.
• Flexibility to float within skillset as required.
