We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for patient care and a commitment to surgical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interactions with everyone in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Advocate for patient privacy and confidentiality while ensuring a clean and safe hospital environment.
• Respond appropriately and immediately in emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations to maintain accreditation and licensure.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care plans.
• Provide patient care based on standards of care, protocols, and established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient well-being during surgical interventions.
• Maintain sterile fields and oversee the care and handling of sterile supplies and instruments.
• Identify patients correctly and verify operative procedures and sites before surgery.
• Apply principles of aseptic practice and manage supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases.
• Maintain sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of O.R. nursing experience preferred.
• Current MA RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP preferred.
• Ability to function in an environment with competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, multitasking ability, and a can-do attitude.
