WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced professional to join a state-of-the-art healthcare system in Watertown, NY. Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret patient data, including admission information, current respiratory care orders, medical history, physical assessments, PFT values, ABG results, and relevant laboratory findings.
• Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment according to established protocols.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory treatments and document findings in the medical record.
• Deliver prescribed therapeutic interventions to ensure adequate oxygenation, airway patency, and proper humidification.
• Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) in accordance with physician orders and departmental policy.
• Follow departmental protocols such as ventilator weaning, ventilator monitoring, cuff pressure checks, and other standardized procedures.
• Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and ongoing education as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist license.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registry.
• BLS Certification Required.
• ACLS and NRP Certifications Required.
