Description
Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical respiratory care to pediatric patients in various settings, including the ICU, ED, and general care areas. Atlanta is known for its diverse culture, bustling city life, and rich history, making it an exciting place to live and work.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to pediatric patients in ICU, ED, and general care areas.
- Work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend.
- Be adaptable and open to floating between different care units as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
- Experience in pediatric care is required.
- Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED.
- Must hold a valid registration as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
- Active GA license is mandatory at the time of application.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic.
