Description

Position Details

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
  • Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Additional Details

  • Floating within NICU departments as required
  • 3 years of NICU experience required
  • Experience with neonatal care and advanced life support
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and patient monitoring systems
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP
  • Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts — 36 hours per week

  • Years of Experience: 3
  • Charting System Experience: Required
  • Travel Experience Required: Yes
  • Certifications: ACLS, NRP

Required Skills

  • Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
  • Ventilator management
  • Intravenous and enteral feeding
  • Monitoring of vital signs and oxygen therapy
  • Patient and family education
  • Medication administration and reconciliation
  • Recognize signs of neonatal distress
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

  • Float Required: May need to assist in other NICU areas
