Description
WCS Healthcare Partners is looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our surgical team. Responsibilities
- Participate as a team member in the planning and implementation of nursing care for each patient.
- Demonstrate the ability to clean instruments and ensure sterility is achieved by utilizing the appropriate procedures.
- Select equipment and supplies in an organized manner, based on surgical procedure.
- Create and maintain a sterile field, adhering to aseptic techniques at all times.
- Work with medical and nursing staff to provide safe patient care, using care with sharps to prevent injury or contamination.
- Assess the surgical environment for safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Requirements
- AHA BLS certification (through AHA or RQI specifically).
- OR Tech Licensure/Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- ACLS and NRP certifications required.
