Description

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings as necessary.
- Educate and support families regarding respiratory therapies and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care using EPIC charting system.
- Participate in the rotation for weekend coverage and float to other units as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- NICU experience required; pediatrics experience is valuable.
- Current BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT certifications.
- State license required; can be pending but must be active to start.
- Willingness to work every other weekend and float within scope.
- Ability to wear navy blue scrubs.
