Description

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and assist with deliveries, including C-sections.
- Perform triage and assessments of obstetrical patients.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide post-partum care.
- Ensure adherence to protocols for patient safety and infection control.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
- Active New Jersey RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Experience with EPIC systems.
- Ability to circulate and scrub for C-sections.
- Willingness to float among designated hospitals based on staffing needs.
- Must pass the dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
