Description

Join WCS Healthcare Partners in the vibrant and diverse Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York, as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a major academic medical center with state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Enjoy a dynamic work environment without the need for weekend, call, or holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level-1 Adult Trauma and Pediatric Level-2 Trauma center.
  • Assist in a variety of surgeries including General, Urology, GYN, Robotic, Plastics, Pediatric, Orthopedics, and Thoracic surgeries.
  • Float to the Ambulatory Surgery Unit as needed, which includes 6 Operating Rooms connected to the Main OR.
  • Scrub and circulate in multi-specialty surgical procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
  • 4 years of experience preferred.
  • Previous travel experience required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ACLS and NRP certifications required.
  • Valid New York State RN Licensure.
  • Trauma and Orthopedics experience preferred.
