Description
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for an exciting contract opportunity in Concord, MA. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced acute care environment, providing top-tier patient care alongside a highly respected clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative expectations.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
- Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient-care equipment; interpret and document electronic data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active MA RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience.
- BLS & ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication, assessment, and customer-service skills.
- Experience in telemetry and neuro is required.
- 3 years of MS/tele experience.
- MediTech experience preferred.
