Description
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our Labor & Delivery unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes patient care and professional growth. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on postnatal care and newborn care practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Cerner.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Proficient in managing cases involving pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor.
- Willingness to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Commitment to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
