Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the emergency department.
• Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care.
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP and ventilators, and provide care for patients with neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and perform emergency care for various conditions, including gunshot wounds and ortho trauma.
• Implement isolation precautions and perform triage duties as required.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate and efficient documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Active New York Single State RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Strong clinical skills in IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as needed.
