Description
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department team at a state-of-the-art facility in Rochester, NY. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced diagnostic technology and a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and IV vasopressors.
- Manage ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP equipment.
- Interpret and manage cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmias.
- Perform triage, prioritize patient care, and manage isolation precautions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in trauma care, including neuro-trauma and orthopedic trauma.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Active New York Single State RN license.
- EPIC charting experience is required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Strong skills in phlebotomy, central line care, and emergency medications.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility to float within skillset as needed.
