Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, Intermediate, and Medical-Surgical units.
- Adapt to different unit needs and patient ratios, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.
