Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across various campuses, including Marlborough, University, and Memorial.
- Administer respiratory care treatments and therapies, including aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in high-risk deliveries and provide critical care support in the NICU as needed.
Requirements
- Active MA state RRT license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Prior NICU and Level I facility experience preferred.
- Critical Care experience is required.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required.
- Strong skills in adult critical care, intubation assistance, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
- Ability to float to different campuses as needed and work various shifts, including weekends.
