Description

Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners in the heart of Bronx, NY. We are seeking compassionate and skilled professionals to provide exceptional care in our Level 3 ICU. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Administer medications and manage multiple medication drips.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
  • Manage patients with EVD and hypothermia treatment.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment, including PCA pumps and Hemosphere Flotrac.
  • Maintain strict adherence to isolation precautions and infection control protocols.
  • Document patient care accurately using Allscript EMR.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Valid RN License to practice in New York State.
  • Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience.
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Preferred certifications: CCRN and TNCC.
  • Proficiency in managing trauma patients and using pleurevac chest tube drainage.
  • Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holidays as needed.
