Responsibilities

• Independently administer physical therapy and provide treatment services to individuals with complex therapy needs.
• Collaborate with the Director of RMU, Nursing Director, FHSD, and medical staff.
• Attend bi-weekly care conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized home exercise programs and educate patients and families on continued care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed rehabilitation care practitioner.
• Valid state license in physical therapy with no exceptions.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
• Experience in acute care, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong skills in body mechanics, post-operative care, and rehabilitation for various conditions such as spinal injuries, stroke, and cognitive disorders.
