Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the ICU with a focus on safety and wellbeing.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Uphold professional standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records preferred.
