WCS Healthcare Partners is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a prestigious hospital system in Greenwood, SC. Responsibilities

• Care for patients transitioning out of the ICU requiring more care and attention than patients on a general medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patients with medical equipment such as catheters, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Care for multiple patients throughout the same shift, often varying in age and condition.
• Respond to "code blue" alerts and other urgent situations.
• Provide a comfortable and secure environment for the patient while acting as their advocate.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/ICU Step Down RN experience in an acute setting is required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
