WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a reputable hospital in the vibrant city of Greenwood, SC. This position offers an exciting opportunity for clinically strong RNs who excel in fast-paced environments and are passionate about providing exceptional care to patients facing life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life-threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high-intensity interventions.
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed.
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
