Join WCS Healthcare Partners for an exciting opportunity as an experienced Critical Care Nurse in the vibrant city of Greenwood, SC. This contract assignment at a highly respected hospital is perfect for ICU-trained RNs with strong clinical judgement and rapid assessment skills, ready to manage complex, high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and continuously monitor patient progress in the ICU.
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
• Provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and family members.
• Initiate treatments, administer medications, and monitor dosing.
• Respond to medical emergencies and activate appropriate clinical teams.
• Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient's ICU stay.
• Complete all required documentation prior to patient transfer.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
• BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
