WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical, Tele Nurse for an ongoing contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Olean, NY.  

Job Function:  

• Day Shift.

• Evaluate and monitor patients' progress.

• Identify sudden or subtle changes in medical condition.

• Provide regular updates to physicians, patients, and family members.

• Initiate treatment and monitor medication dosages.

• Accurately maintain and update patient records.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of recent experience on a Neurology floor and with Telemetry.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license, or willingness to obtain.

• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
