Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Edison, NJ.

Job Function:

Day Shift or Night Shift.
3x12: 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am.
Operate electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously monitor patients’ heart activity.
Analyze EKG results to establish baselines and identify any abnormalities.
Accurately record EKG findings to maintain up-to-date patient records.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and ongoing treatment plans before hospital discharge.

Job Requirements:

2 full years of recent Telemetry RN experience is required.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New Jersey.
Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Continuing Education Unit (CEU) in Contact Stroke (4 hours) preferred.
