Description

WCS is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Buffalo, New York.

Job Function:

Night Shift.
3x12.
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) based on acute care protocols.
Monitor and assess patients’ cardiovascular status, responding promptly to changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments following BLS and ACLS guidelines.
Document patient care activities accurately using the Epic electronic health records system.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Current Registered Nurse license for the state of New York.
2 years of acute Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience required.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
Experience with Epic electronic health records system is required.
