WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay for this position is $2,400 a week.

Job Function:

•  Day Shift or Night Shift.
• 3x12.

• Administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, ensuring adherence to the "five rights" of medication administration.​

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and report findings in accordance with established policies and protocols. ​

• Educate patients about upcoming surgical procedures, including preoperative and postoperative care instructions. ​

• Record patients' medical information and vital signs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient records.

• Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment, such as IV pumps and cardiac monitors, interpreting and recording electronic displays to assess patient status. ​

Job Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in this specialty.  
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing  (BSN).  
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).  
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
