Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Auburn, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,680 per week for this role.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
7am to 5:30pm.
Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR.
Prep operating room for patient/procedure and assist other staff in breaking down the room.
Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient.
Provides accurate care and handling of specimens.
Initiates corrective actions whenever needed.
Observes and enforces strict standards of asepsis.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current RN license for the state that you are working in.
2 full years of acute care experience in this specialty.
BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
