Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Hartford, CT.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
8:00 to 4:30pm.
Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician.
Set up, operate, and maintain equipment according to policy and procedure.
Ability to explain procedures to patients.
Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient.
Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.

Job Requirements:

At least one year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience is required.
Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
ASRT certified/
BLS certification from the AHA.
CT DPH License.
