Description

WCS Healthcare  is currently seeking a Interventional Radiology  Technologist  for  a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital  in Hartford, CT.  


Job Function:  

  • Day Shift.
  • 8:00 to 4:30pm.
  • Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain  images as  requested by the physician.     
  • Set up, operate, and maintain equipment according to policy and procedure.     
  • Ability to explain procedures to patients.  
  • Maintain all equipment for  procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient.  
  • Minimize  radiation to patient and staff by practicing  radiation protection  techniques.  

Job  Requirements:  

  • At least one year of Interventional  Radiology  Technologist experience  is  required.
  • Graduate  of an accredited  radiology  program.    
  • ASRT certified/  
  • BLS certification from the AHA.  
  • CT DPH License.
