Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Boston, MA.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
9:30am to 8pm.
Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.
Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.
Prepare patients for surgery as requested.
Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.
Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.
Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.

Job Requirements:

CST required - Certified by the national accrediting body in compliance with MA state law.
BLS.
A background in Ophthalmic technology.
2+ years of experience.
