Local Contract Nurse RN - Ambulatory Care

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious ambulatory surgical center in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

• Day Shift.
• 6:30am - 3:30pm.

• Provide individualized, emotionally supportive post-operative care in accordance with the anesthesiologist’s or attending physician’s directions.

• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness per nursing protocols.

• Accurately document all nursing activities and complete a discharge note once the patient is cleared for transfer.

• Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are properly stocked and readily available.

• Assist the anesthesiologist or attending physician with patient care as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.

• Current RN license in the state of practice (or willingness to obtain).

• 2 years of experience as a PACU Nurse.

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
