Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a surgical technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Chambersburg, PA.  


Job Function:

  • Day Shift.
  • 5x8.
  • Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.     
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.  
  • Prepare patients for surgery as requested.     
  • Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.     
  • Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.  
  • Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.     

Job Requirements:  

  • 2  years of CST RN experience is required.   
  • BLS, certification from the American Heart Association  are required.   
  • EPIC experience preferred.
