Description
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
Job Function:
- Day Shift and Night Shift.
- 3x12.
Prepare, administer (orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously), and accurately record prescribed medications.
Report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with nursing policies.
Educate patients about surgical procedures and address their questions or concerns.
Record patients’ medical information and vital signs accurately.
Monitor, adjust, and maintain specialized patient equipment, interpreting and documenting electronic displays as needed.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New York.
1 year of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
