Description
Our client, a large social services agency based in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support individuals with developmental disabilities. If you're an RN looking to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply today!
Job Function:
Day Shift.
9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Coordinate and oversee healthcare services for assigned programs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Arrange medical referrals and follow up on ongoing health concerns for individuals served.
Provide staff training on medical administration, infection control, and personal care procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and supervise medication administration and storage.
Respond to health emergencies, administer first aid, and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of nursing experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Valid RN license in New York State.
Experience working with OPWDD populations preferred.
