WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Cooperstown, NY.  

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 7pm to 7am.

• Provide intermediate-level care to patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU-level care.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions; respond promptly to changes.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and charge nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Utilize telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

Job Requirements:  

• 2+ years of experience.
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS.
• NYS Licenses.
