Description

Our client is looking to hire a MRI Tech to join their team at a medical center in New York. This is a temp-to-perm role, and they are open to new grads!

Job Function:

Day Shift.
8am-4:30pm.
Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders, safety protocols, and established imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the scan.
Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, devices) and maintain strict MRI safety standards.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards.
Accurately document procedures, patient information, and imaging results in the electronic medical record system.

Job Requirements:

2 years of experience as a MRI.
ARRT (R)(M) certification required.
Active state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
BLS certification required.
Active New York State Department of Health (DOH) license.
